How to join SDRC ....
BRC changed the method of joining a riding club in 2024. You can now join us at any time of the year and still benefit from a full 12 month’s membership!
How do I join as a new member?
Any NEW members who join the club via the Sport80 system will automatically have a renewal date 12 months’ time from their join date, as the new system will support annual rolling memberships.
Payments will no longer be made direct to SDRC, they will be taken via card through the portal by each member.
New members receive a voucher for a FREE 30 minute private lesson with Caron Roberts worth £55 which for a small fee can be upgraded to 1 hour.

We require your horse's name (passport name) horse passport number and microchip number
** UELN stands for Unique Equine Life Number. A UELN is a Passport Number, but a Passport number is not necessarily a UELN.
A UELN is always 15 digits long and for UK passports will start '826'. The next 3 digits indicate the Passport Issuing Organisation (PIO). e.g. '826004' is the prefix for the BHS. The final 9 digits are the unique identifier for that horse within that organisation. Passports issued in other EU countries will have a different UELN prefix. e.g. '372' for Ireland (inc NI). For a full list see www.ueln.net.
All horse passports issued since 2004 SHOULD have a UELN as its passport number and all passports issued in the EU after July 2009 MUST have a UELN as its passport number, so eventually all passport numbers will be a UELN. All other passports will have a Passport Number. You should NOT just add the prefix of the PIO to a Passport Number as this does not always create a valid UELN - just use the passport number.
